Club Sandwich

Serves 4

  • 6 slices of bread for toasting
  •  2 tomatoes
  • ¼ head lettuce
  • 200 g thinly sliced chicken fillet
  • 4 rashers of bacon
  •  Mayonnaise

Garnish: 1 bag of crisps, 2 gherkins 



Toast the bread. Wash the lettuce and slice the tomatoes. Fry the bacon until crisp. Take one slice of bread, spread it with mayonnaise and top with a little lettuce, 2 slices of tomato, some chicken fillet and a rasher of bacon.

Top this with a second slice of bread and spread with mayonnaise as before. Top this with lettuce, tomato, chicken and bacon. End with the third slice of bread.

Finish with a wooden skewer and a gherkin. Cut the club sandwich in half diagonally.
